In the past, the Wittenberg Lutheran Center has sponsored
a Spring Break Mission Trip to Mexico. The trips have varied
in the past as to location in Mexico, but each one has been
to aid and share the Gospel with the Mexican people in poorer
areas.
The trips have been as far into Mexico as to eight and
a half hours up the mountains to a small village called
Alta Cima and to as close as Matamoros, which is just across
the border from Brownsville, TX.
2001 - Alta Cima. MX

2002 - Rio Bravo, MX

2003 - Rio Bravo, MX

2004 - Alta Cima, MX

The trips begin on Friday night of Spring Break and last
until the following Sunday before classes begin again.
Each year the students who have gone on the trip have
benefited greatly from the experience. Items, such as: school
supplies, over-the-counter medications, toys, baseball caps,
have been collected and taken to the villages and distributed
to the Mexican people.

Wittenberg is currently discussing plans for future mission
trips were we hope to spread the Good News. "Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
Join us as we plan our next mission trip!
